Board conditionally approves town's battery storage facility extension

Tewksbury Board of Health votes conditionally on battery facility extension. The Board unanimously approved the town's request for a February 6 deadline to file expert testimony on a proposed battery energy storage facility, conditioning approval on public access to fire safety data and an extended EFSB discovery period; the vote was 4-0. The Board also unanimously approved a 60-hen permit for applicant Brian Smith at 4 Day Street and added a $100 late-renewal fee for non-profit food permit holders.
