Board of Health discusses battery storage facility litigation strategy in executive session

TEWKSBURY — The Tewksbury Board of Health convened in confidential executive session March 19 to discuss litigation strategy in the Energy Facilities Siting Board proceeding regarding the proposed Hillman Energy Center battery storage facility. Board Chair Melissa Braga and four other members met with Director of Public Health Shannon Gillis for 30 minutes to review the Board's post-hearing brief, with substantive decisions on the brief reserved for open session. The Board voted unanimously to end executive session and return to open session at 6:34 PM.
