Tewksbury Board of Health suspends 7-Eleven tobacco permit, escalates Crescio Trucking enforcement. The board unanimously voted to suspend 7-Eleven's tobacco sales for one day on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, following a second underage sale violation within 36 months; representatives Peter Sullivan and Chris Pendelton reported the store has retrained staff and plans to add signage explaining data retention during ID scans. Crescio Trucking must pay a $100 outstanding fine plus permit fees and late charges by February 26, 2026, or face $500 daily fines starting February 27, 2026; the company's owner or representative must appear before the board at its March 19 meeting.
The board also unanimously appointed Jody Gay as special Health Agent and Animal Control Officer.
