Community Market Opens Tonight; Town-School Joint Meeting Set for June 30

The Tewksbury Community Market returns this evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Livingston Street Park, bringing food vendors, artisans, and local farms to 288 Livingston Street — and a road closure elsewhere in town has added a note of caution for drivers heading that way.

TOWN HALL

The Tewksbury Community Market is open today, Thursday, June 25, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Livingston Street Park (288 Livingston Street, behind the Recreation Center). Featured vendors this week include the Eggroll Café, Whoopie Wagon, and The Eatery, alongside farms and sweets vendors.

Residents with dogs should note that the town has issued a 2026 Dog Licensing Reminder. Licenses are required for all dogs in Tewksbury; the full notice is available at the town's official alerts page (https://www.tewksbury-ma.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=1128).

Looking ahead on the civic calendar: the Board of Health will hold an executive session Friday, June 26. On Tuesday, June 30, both a Joint Meeting of the Select Board and the School Committee and a Special School Committee and Select Board Meeting are scheduled — a pairing that signals consequential business may be on the table for the district and town leadership.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Tewksbury Public Library has a packed week ahead. The library's News Flash announcement notes 16 programs scheduled for the week of June 28, highlighted by an outdoor concert on Sunday, June 29, and a football history program on Monday, June 30.
