Tewksbury Finance Committee reorganized its leadership and approved $131,800 in budget transfers during a June 22 meeting. Richard Levasseur was elected Chair, Jomarie Buckley Vice Chair, and Evan Walsh Clerk, all unanimously. The committee approved 10 separate transfer motions totaling $131,777.92, ranging from Chapter 44 Section 33B allocations of $38,693.20 to departmental shifts of $2,500 to $35,000, mostly passing with no opposition.
Committee members also began initial discussions on the fiscal year 2027 Shawsheen Technical High School budget as the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education became involved in the planning process.
