Tewksbury Finance Committee welcomed Shawsheen Tech's new Business Manager Ian Gosselin while raising serious concerns about financial reporting and budget transparency. Committee Chair Richard Levasseur pressed the regional school district on misaligned account codes, unexplained guidance and science budget increases of roughly $100,000 each, and failure to post revised budgets publicly. The committee noted that Shawsheen Tech's reported $435,451 budget reduction was not itemized by town, obscuring Tewksbury's actual savings of $140,886.53.

Superintendent Tony McIntosh committed to establishing a collaborative working group with all five sending communities' finance committees and town managers to set realistic budget targets before formal development begins in late October.
