Library Trustees approve four policies, set changes for three more

Board of Library Trustees · Meeting of January 13, 2026

TEWKSBURY — Board of Library Trustees approves four policies in routine January meeting. Chair Christopher Castiglione and five trustees unanimously adopted the Collection Development Policy, Library Created Displays Policy, Meeting Room Use Policy, and Social Media Policy, while deferring three others for future review. Assistant Director Nicole Goolishian reported HVAC maintenance in December and a successful December giving campaign that included donations to the State Hospital Giving Tree and a toiletry drive for the Glenice Sheehan Recovery Home for Women.

Friends of the Library President Mary Ann Taylor noted that donations totaled approximately 13,000 dollars in 2025, though down from 2024, with the Friends currently planning quarterly dine-out fundraisers and an annual "Breakfast for Dinner" event.
