TEWKSBURY — Open Space committee advanced hospital land and recreation plan projects. The committee approved plans for the Hospital Land project with an RFP draft due by June 30 and full release targeted for July 31, with design work slated for August and potential inclusion of boardwalk construction costs in the town meeting warrant. The committee also approved installation of a site-entrance kiosk and interpretive sign for the Poplar Well Field project, featuring historical information and trail mapping.

Section 6 of the Open Space and Recreation Plan was approved; Section 7 remained in draft status, and the committee flagged concerns about having adequate time to review this critical action plan section.
