Tewksbury Open Space Committee reelected its leadership through unanimous votes at an August meeting. Tom Branchaud was reelected chair, Bruce Shick as vice chair, and Paige Impink as clerk. The committee advanced a boardwalk project on Hospital land, with Assistant Town Manager Robert Maynard and firm GCG preparing a proposal requiring wetland delineation in fall and plans to seek town-meeting funding to maintain a 2027 build timeline.
The group also agreed to dedicate new pickleball courts to Steve Sadwick, planned three guided walks with the Tewksbury Public Library, and reviewed a proposed removal of 78 parcels from the town's Open Space inventory.
