TEWKSBURY — Planning Board approves monument sign permit for Lowell Five Center Savings Bank. Chair Stephen Johnson and the board unanimously approved a sign special permit for 1775 Main Street, allowing replacement of the existing non-conforming pylon sign with a monument-style design measuring 83 inches tall and positioned 1 foot 8 inches from the property line. The new location in a grassy median near the main driveway entrance is intended to improve traffic flow and provide better exposure for the bank.
Conditions included perpetual maintenance with timely remediation of damage, and required building and electrical permits.
