Planning Board approves two family suite permits, signage plan change
Planning Board · Meeting of January 12, 2026
TEWKSBURY — Planning Board approves two family suite special permits and signage plan revision. The board unanimously approved a 867-square-foot in-law suite for 54 Charles Drive for Michael and Dineen Doucette's parents and a one-bedroom family suite for 100 Jennies Way for Jess and Colleen Mader, both using town sewer. The board also accepted revised Master Signage Plan changes for 910 Andover Street, allowing self-illuminated signage exceeding the maximum 4-foot height requirement under a 1950s diner aesthetic replacing the original French Bistro design; Chair Stephen Johnson and board members Vincent Fratalia, James Duffy, and Jonathan Ciampa confirmed individual support for the variance with cautions on nighttime illumination compliance.
A Site Plan Review for 485 Main Street was continued to February 9, 2026 at the applicant's request.
