Policy subcommittee approves revised instructional materials and library policies.

School Committee · Meeting of March 24, 2026

TEWKSBURY — The Tewksbury School Committee Policy Subcommittee voted unanimously March 24 to advance revised instructional materials and library policies to the full School Committee for review. Chair Bridget Garabedian and member Chris Moncada, with Superintendent Brenda Theriault-Regan, approved five policies aligned with Massachusetts Association of School Committees recommendations: instructional materials, library selection, library discard procedures, reconsideration of instructional resources, and school entrance age rules. Two curriculum policies, curriculum development and curriculum adoption, will receive first and final readings.

One fundraising policy required no changes, and the district updated its Curriculum Bias Reporting Form without formal action.
