TEWKSBURY — School Committee approves payroll and multiple personnel policies at budget hearing. The Committee unanimously approved payroll for periods ending January 15 and January 29, 2026, totaling $3,438,289.34, and voted unanimously to adopt eight personnel and administrative policies with revisions while rescinding two others. Business Manager David Libby presented the FY27 budget requesting a 3.44 percent increase, with salaries at 72.4 percent of the proposed budget.
Superintendent Brenda Theriault-Regan announced that Tewksbury Memorial High School students will participate in a live video conference with astronaut Dr. Chris Williams during his International Space Station mission in late March, and the Committee deferred voting on the 2026-2027 school calendar to March while gathering stakeholder input on an earlier school start date.
