Tewksbury School Committee presents FY27 budget and names next superintendent. Business Manager David Libby presented a $1.8 million salary increase as part of a 3.72 percent overall budget request; Chair Bridget Garabedian announced the Committee unanimously voted to name Assistant Superintendent Dr. Nancy Milligan as the district's next superintendent pending contract negotiations.
JCJ Architecture presented six renovation options ranging from $182 million to $286 million; the firm recommended Option 2, closing Dewing and Heath Brook Schools to build a new elementary school. The Committee voted unanimously to make Good Friday, April 3, 2026, a regular school day and set June 18 as the last day of school, and approved the 2026-2027 school calendar with a September 2 student start date.
