School Committee approves new administrator, policies, and transportation contract.

Tewksbury School Committee approves new assistant superintendent and funding. The committee unanimously voted to hire Jason Stamp as Assistant Superintendent of Schools and approved a new transportation contract during its May 27 meeting, Superintendent Brenda Theriault-Regan presiding. The committee also authorized payroll totaling $5.2 million across three periods and unanimously adopted three instructional policies while revising two additional policies governing staff development and tutoring.

Regan recognized over $210,000 in scholarships awarded to 119 high school students by 66 donors at the annual awards ceremony and highlighted achievements by state champion wrestlers, lacrosse players, and other athletes at Tewksbury Memorial High School.
