TEWKSBURY — School Committee unanimously offers superintendency to Dr. Nancy Milligan. At a special meeting March 11, the committee voted 5-0 to offer the position to Milligan, Assistant Superintendent of Tewksbury Public Schools, pending her acceptance and successful contract negotiation, Chair Bridget Garabedian announced.
Milligan delivered an opening statement and answered questions from committee members before the board moved to deliberate and take the vote. A scheduled March 12 deliberation meeting has been canceled.
