School Committee policy subcommittee reviews staffing rules, rescissions planned

Tewksbury School Committee Policy Subcommittee advanced staffing policies toward full committee consideration. Chair Bridget Garabedian and member Chris Moncada, alongside Superintendent Brenda Theriault-Regan and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Nancy Milligan, voted unanimously to approve prior meeting minutes and reviewed eight personnel policies drawn from Massachusetts Association of School Committees guidance.

The subcommittee recommended four policies for first and final reading by the full committee and identified two for rescission; four others will undergo further review before committee action. The subcommittee next meets February 17, 2026.
