TEWKSBURY — Select Board approves May town-meeting dates and accepts five-thousand dollars in donations. The board set the Annual Town Meeting for Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. and the Special Town Meeting for Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., both at Tewksbury Memorial High School, voting unanimously. All five board members approved a $2,500 donation from James Boudreau's automotive service and a $2,500 donation from American Gutter Cleaning & Installations, both for the police department's "Shop with a Cop" program, plus a $50 gift to the Senior Center from David and Patricia Cressmen.
The board voted unanimously to approve a National Grid pole petition on French Street subject to Public Works Director Kevin Hardiman's conditions and continued a Lincoln Road pole petition to January 27; residents raised concerns about a proposed lithium battery storage site, citing safety risks and questioning the review process.
