Select Board · Meeting of April 21, 2026
Tewksbury Select Board approves two new business licenses, advances housing compliance work. Chair Eric Ryder and the five-member board unanimously licensed Boston Qahwah coffee shop at 1555 Main Street and Main Street Sports Grille entertainment license at 1268 Main Street. Town Manager John Curran updated the board on MBTA Communities Act compliance, presenting two potential sites for an affordable housing district: 3 Radcliff Road (3.26 acres, home to active Stageedge production company) and 75 Radcliff Road (6 acres, 1 acre developable).
The board favored 75 Radcliff Road to avoid displacing business. The board also unanimously approved a $30,000 warrant article for survey and engineering on two Bay Circuit Trail boardwalks on state hospital land, and reorganized committee designee assignments for the next fiscal term.
