Tewksbury Select Board unanimously approved the Into Action Recovery Road Race for September 27 and accepted two property easements. The Board approved donations totaling $300 to the Veterans' Department and for a banner honoring Maryann Vasallo, and accepted a tabletop statue of Anne Sullivan and Helen Keller from Lewis Randa of the Peace Abbey. Town Historian Nancy Reed noted the statue's significance given Anne Sullivan's time at the Tewksbury Almshouse in the 1870s.
The Board tabled a proposed Town Counsel access policy, deferring the decision pending consultation with other boards and Town Counsel review.
