Town Manager John Curran reported the new five-year license closely mirrors the prior agreement, with cable fees rising 3.5 to 4 percent and the town receiving 4 percent of Verizon gross revenue. Telemedia Director Brian Dorrington said capital payments would be front-loaded over the first two years.
