Tewksbury boards selected 75 Radcliff Road for MBTA Communities housing district. The Select Board and Planning Board voted unanimously (9-0) to approve sub-district 1 and sub-district 2 with 75 Radcliff Road as the town's MBTA Communities proposal for the Fall Town Meeting, preserving a commercial property occupied by Stageedge event production. Town Manager John Curran had noted that sub-district 2 would need an additional parcel to meet state compliance standards; the boards chose the undeveloped 75 Radcliff Road property over 3 Radcliff Road, which houses an existing business.
The town has been ineligible for certain state funding while remaining non-compliant with the state's MBTA Communities housing requirements.
