Zoning Board · Meeting of August 27, 2026

TEWKSBURY — The Tewksbury Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approved three variance and special permit requests at its August 27 meeting. Jason LeRocque won a variance to exceed the 20 percent lot coverage cap at 75 Elm Ave for a 20-by-21-foot-9.5-inch pool house addition, saying the heated, year-round space would serve his "multi-generational family." Amanulla Syed received a special permit to raise a sagging garage-top playroom ceiling at 31 Heidenrich Dr from a sloped seven-foot peak to a flat nine feet, with no plumbing or footprint changes. Nick Boucher, who identified himself as chairman of the Methuen Zoning Board of Appeals, represented Amanda and Matthew Uglietta in winning side-setback relief for a 24-by-32-foot attached garage at 221 Mitchell G Dr, citing a town-owned stormwater easement bordering the lot.

None of the three hearings drew public comment, and all decisions carry a standard 20-day appeal window.
