Tewksbury Finance Committee approves $25,000 emergency transfer for police station heating repairs. The Shawsheen Valley Technical High School assessment is set to rise 5.2 percent to approximately $9.56 million, the second-lowest increase among member communities, but the town manager said he would advise the Select Board to oppose a forthcoming Shawsheen warrant article seeking member-town funds for a facilities study, saying the district first needed to "get their financial house in order."
