Tewksbury Conservation Commission Continues 1325 Main Street Residential Redevelopment Hearing

TEWKSBURY — March 18, 2026 — Tewksbury's Conservation Commission continued two wetland permit cases and approved two others at its March 18 meeting. The most protracted item involved Kazanjian Enterprises, Inc. at 2512 Main Street, where the commission discovered the original order of conditions had expired, leaving the project without an active permit while the applicants sought a Certificate of Compliance for work that included 282 square feet of unauthorized impervious surface within the 100-foot wetland buffer. Chairman Daniel Ronan said he wanted to "do it by the numbers," and the commission voted 5-0 to continue the matter to April 8, directing the applicants to file a Request for Determination of Applicability before then. The commission also voted 5-0 to approve an amended order for BSC Group at 200 Ames Pond Drive, covering minor repositioning of an eyewash station and nitrogen tank pad at a previously permitted CIL facility, and continued a Notice of Intent filed by AJM Construction for a 14-unit residential and office redevelopment at 1325 Main Street to April 22, pending resolution of peer review comments from TEC.
